The DSD4121 RV High Definition Satellite Television Decoder - Receiver or 'STU' (Set Top Unit) for short.

Utilising the STi7111 microprocessor for handling video streams, this STU can comfortably handle MPEG2 and MPEG4 demands to support high definition viewing.
This means extraordinary picture quality particularly when watching a movie or your favourite sport.

- VAST certified ... for any satellite decoder to legally read and display the VAST television and radio services, all receivers must meet exacting standards as set out by the body governing VAST transmission.
- 8 day Electronic Program Guide ... allowing you to see whats on for more than a week in advance but more so allowing you to highlight a particular program and receive an in depth review similar to what is offered by most printed TV guides that you find in news papers and magazines, (now you know where they get their information!).
- Multiple Video output formats ... allowing you to connect to almost any television. Most importantly HDMI output is available allowing for true high definition viewing.
- Multiple Audio output formats ... giving you the options of both optical audio output and SPDIF coaxial output for true 5.1 surround sound. Off course, old fashion stereo output is also available.
